Equipped

Be Equipped! Pastors/Teachers equip the body of Christ. They are caregivers and have patience as they deal with the day to day struggles of of the church and fallen humanity. Apostles lay a foundation and are used by Holy Spirit to teach/disciple/ mentor the body. Watchmen are called to sit on the wall and sound the alarm as they intercede for people and circumstances to bring heaven to earth and. Prophets speak out as they hear the voice of God to bring about change in the atmosphere speaking about the Kingdom.

The Eye Gate

Before I write this... I PROMISE... I am in a GOOD MOOD.

Have you ever thought about all the movies that have dead people walking around like zombies? I am not a fan, but I think it is a prophetic insight to what God is speaking to the body right now. I believe God wants to bring resurrection life to the body of Christ (the ecclesia).

Are you waiting on the Lord?

Have you ever heard someone say, "I am waiting on the Lord"? I have been guilty of saying these very words from time to time. We pray, we fast, we cry out and there is no answer. It is as if heaven has become closed like brass and we feel as if no direction comes. We wait and wait... Some people never step out into their full potential and destiny God has for them because they are in the continual posture of waiting to hear from heaven.

Faith is the substance (confirmation, title, deed- that which already belongs to you) of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen (perceiving as real fact). Hebrews 11:1

Where are the Morals?

Where are the morals and standards we were raised with? What has happened to right and wrong? Why has good become bad and bad become good? There has been a major shift in moral standards in the past few years not only in the culture but also within the church. The demonic influence of political correctness...where we are more concerned with offending others than speaking truth has led us down a path where there is NO repentance and now we have a generation who believes incorrect and has a general acceptance of sinful behavior.

Matthew 24:10-12 (NKJV) says: 10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.

This is the generation we live in...

Hard to Hear God?

Hard to Hear God?

Have you ever had one of those days, weeks, or months where it seems you cannot hear from Heaven?

*You need direction...it does not come.

*You need a strong Word...it is not spoken to you.

*You need hope for your hopelessness...and you do not sense breakthrough.

It's time to go to the ASH HEAP...
It's time to go to the place you cried out to God previously and remember His acts of deliverance and divine interactions. In Scripture, men and women would go back to the Ash heap or the place of previous sacrifice and memorial. Some would sit in the dirt repenting and crying out to God.

It's time to stand on the testimony of what God has done before and simply cry out and remember what He has done in the past. God came through before and will come through again.

God is Smiling

Yesterday was a good day. As I was speaking with Karen, in the Spirit I saw the Lord smiling at her.

You see, God takes delight in her just as He takes delight in you. Why? Because you are unique and His creation in progress. When He spoke the world's into being He said "it is good." He delighted in everything He had fashioned. He is pleased as He moves us from Glory to Glory!

When I looked at my beautiful wife, I thought about God delighting in her, when I spoke what the Lord said about her, she was humbled to the lowest degree. I saw joy warm her heart as she heard the encouraging word from the Lord.

The Coming Outpouring

Ready, Ready, Ready So ready for a revolitionary move of God on the Earth. Are you tired of nominal Christianity which no longer makes an impact or seems relevant? God is calling out a remnant to rise up and evangelize and reveal His glory in this season. This remnant will prepare the Bride of Christ and help her to make herself ready. Like the early church of Pentecost, they will be empowered to move into the streets demonstrating the grace and love of ABBA, Father. As darkness continues to increase...God's grace will increase all the more. You and I must make ourselves even more available as the Holy Spirit directs this latter outpouring. RIC

More Than Just Pews and Pulpits

I believe we are in a season where God wants the church to be more than just pews and pulpits. People continue to set in pews and pastor's continue to speak from pulpits and our altars are empty. They hear the same sermons week after week but do nothing to change the culture around them. God has not called us to the pew or the pulpit... The business as usual mentality continues to cripple the church. 80% of Americans claim to be Christian and yet the majority are not in right relationship with God and struggle with a life of compromise. We have forgotten how to wrestle with God like Jacob. . . We have forgotten how to hear God in the still small voice like Elijah. . . We have forgotten how to fulfill the commission Jesus gave to the disciples... We have forgotten how to simply lead people to...

Preaching the Word

Resurrected With Jesus,
There is nothing in the world I enjoy more than preaching the Word of God! When I was seventeen years old I was called to preach. I remember being approached by my concerned parents when the rumors filled their ears about me being called to preach. They did not know how to handle the news as they were very concerned about my future. It was not "Good News" to them. My life was planned out... you know a respectable life... go into the military, college, mortuary school. I had spoken to them about becoming a mortician and the possibility of attending a "Mortuary School" in Lexington, KY. I was greatly confused because a part of the calling on my life was when the Lord said, “I want you to bring the dead to me!” So I was ready to bring the physically dead to Him and not the Spiritually DEAD!

But . . . the Lord had other plans! Hallelujah! He saw something in me that no one else could see.
