A Troubled Heart

Fear and Anxiety have a way of overtaking one who believes the subliminal lies of the enemy.  Atmospheric demonic spirits lurk in the shadows awaiting for misfortune and unforeseen circumstances so they can play havoc with our minds and emotions.

Since the fall of humanity, Satan and the forces of hell have been seeking to keep the sons and daughters of God from reaching their full potential.  Through these strategical schemes and tactics we the children of God have believed their lies.

Scriptures tells us in John 14:27, "Let not your heart be troubled . . . ".  When we allow fear and anxiety to control us we reject God's capability and unmerited favor to change satanic outcomes and oppression in our lives. To put it bluntly - Satan is after your heart; the core of who you are.

You are a child of the Most High God! You are a person with FAVOR and access to God through the blood of Jesus.  Jesus has given us "Peace" (vs.27) - peace with God.  In the Hebraic understanding peace is the Shalom of God in the midst of chaos.  Chaos has been with us since the fall of humanity - caused by demonic influence mentally and physically in our lives.  We would call this chaos "trials and tribulations".

Let me give you my definition of trials and tribulations.

Trials - that which is internal in our minds which brings great heartache and mental stress and anxiety.

Tribulations - Circumstances beyond ones control which take place in our environment as we live, move and have our being (Acts 17:28) (External stimuli). *It is our ultimate goal to live in Him and not according to the standards of the world.

James 1 : 2 -3 says, ”My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials and tribulations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith works patience.”

Are you not thankful and joyful we have access to the throne room in heaven - through the blood of Jesus - in the midst of fear and anxiety to gain faith and assurance? In this assurance we can trust the Father's love and sovereignty to take care of us as CHILDREN with a hope and a future which is always in His hands and care.

My greatest joy as a father, is when little Morgan comes running to me - to seek help, security, and safety.  In the blog photo - Morgan and our dog McKenzie, both came running and jumped in my lap during a recent thunderstorm.  My fatherly instincts took over as I desired to present to her and McKenzie the attributes of love and care to settle the distresses of their hearts and bring calmness to their minds.  Is it not the same with our heavenly FATHER?  Doesn’t He want our hearts NOT to be troubled but totally rely upon Him?  Absolutely!

Prayer:

Lord today we repent where we allow fear and anxiety to dictate our lives.  Help us to have faith in Your supreme destiny in our lives.  As we now can come boldly before You with full assurance of faith - asking - seeking - and seeing chaos removed and knowing You are a good Father who cares for us.  In Jesus name! Amen!

Seeking Him with All my HEART!

Blessings RIC
