The Heart of the Father

The Heart of the Father

Do you ever wonder how Father God processes the backslidden nature of humanity? Do you think His heart is grieved as He sees how far we have moved from His direct requirement to live morally with Him and each other. We see His commandments broken daily by church leaders, church goers, politicians, and people as we go about our busy ignoring Him.

Social media has mad it easier to manufacture hate, backbiting, and the exaltation of self.

It distracts us and consumes our personal time of simply going into the throne room.

Lies are spewed forth constantly from the pit of hell to tell us what to wear, buy, eat, and believe.Media has become a tool of the devils propaganda to bombard our minds and steal valuable time, energy and bring depression and hopelessness.

News anchors are told what to say…

Politicians have misguided agendas. . .

We are caught in s class five mental tornado brings distraction to the mind, body, and Spirit.

Our minds must be renewed! Many of the things we have been taught are not according to the Word of God! Pastors, family members, friends, and our own thinking gets in the way of our Spiritual blessings as we do not think correctly. We believe lies, doctrines, and things spoken that do not line up with God’s highest word for our lives. We allow thoughts and imaginations to be exalted above what God’s word and perfect will is for us.

Hear the WORD:

Philippians 4:6–9 (HCSB): 6 Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpassesevery thought, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. 8 Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable—if there is any moral excellenceand if there is any praise—dwell on these things. 9 Do what you have learned and receivedand heard and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you.

We are to dwell (think)on things that are pure, just, true, lovely, and commendable. Why? So we may have the PEACE of GOD!

Blessings,

Ric

A Place I Like To Hang Out

 A Place I Like to Hang Out…
Do you remember riding around in a car at night as a teenager looking for friends to hang out with. We called it “cruising”. I have to admit, I was looking for trouble and usually found it.

There is a place I like to hang out now that has been provided by Jesus; it is at the corner of MERCY and GRACE.

MERCY is defined as compassion or forgiveness shown toward someone whom it is within one’s power to punish or harm.

GRACE is defined as the free and unmerited favor of God, as manifested in the salvation of sinners and the bestowal of blessings.

This sounds like a great place to hang out…God continues to have mercy on us, forgives us, and gives us favor we do not deserve.

Are you thankful for the cross of Calvary which enables you to dwell at the feet of the Father?

You now have favor and are His child and He wants to hang out with you.

TRUTH vs. Political Correctness

Truth vs Political Correctness

Who convinced the church to preach without offending others?

Why has political correctness replaced biblical truth?

2 Timothy 4:3

“For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.”

Denominations are failing because political correctness has replaced sound doctrine. The opinions of gnostic universalist teachers are fondling ears of church attendees with convincing half truths and persuasive deceptions which is leading them down a path of social and spiritual destruction.

Have you ever thought about the ministry of Jesus?

He was so far removed from political correctness. He was always offending someone with truth. The religious and political groups were always seeking to kill and destroy Him and felt justified in their social and political correctness.  These were the groups he constantly spoke out against and offended as he exposed their evil motivations and schemes.

We can honestly say not much has changed in 2000 years.

Today, TRUTH has become HATE speech and frowned upon by political and religious elitist.  They frown because TRUTH exposes darkness.  TRUTH is the path to freedom. When I speak of truth, it is known truth that sets one free.

John 8:32

“You shall KNOW the truth and the truth shall set you free.”

– Jesus

So by speaking truth actually leads to liberation of the Spirit, Mind, and Body. FREEDOM!

As Jesus preached truth, His words had meaning and life because they brought transformation of the heart and mind. His teaching of truth brought reconciliation of the broken relationship between humanity and the FATHER.

So as those who preach and teach NOT to tickle ears with the flattery of political correctness are preaching from a prophetic unction through the Holy Spirit. The whole purpose of their proclamation is to bring correction and alignment as they teach TRUTH to bring you freedom.

So do not be offended if I speak and teach TRUTH. It is motivated out of love and concern of where we are headed.

Is anyone else out there with me?

Resurrection Lifestyle – GOD Use Me!

If we all had one desire in common, it would be to be used of God.Sometimes that seems so out of reach. We feel as though we’re not qualified or that we don’t have enough Bible knowledge or Spiritual maturity to be used by God.  So the question is, “What kind of people does God use?” I believe in looking at Scripture we discover the answer to this question.

First, God uses ordinary people.  If you look at the Old Testament, Moses, David, Deborah, Ruth, and countless others seem to be unlikely candidates that God would use.Even when Jesus calls the disciples, He calls common people. This is a distinctive quality in Jesus as Rabbi.Traditionally, a young man who had studied the law and found worthy to continue in the pursuit of becoming a Rabbi, would ask the Rabbi to be his student (Talmidian). Not so with Jesus.  Jesus seeks out His followers, and one fourth of them are just common fishermen (full grown).  Most disciples followed Rabbi’s at a younger age like James and John.   Jesus chose the common person to follow him.  This is so refreshing.

Also, it seems that God uses people who are persistent and patient. In looking at the life of Joseph, it is hard to imagine how one individual could have been so persistent to endure so much hardship while never doubting or questioning God.  Perseverance is a greater resource than ability. Likewise, fishermen are a patient and a persevering breed.  A good fisherman always goes back into the same waters that discouraged him and tries again.  This is a quality Jesus looks for in those He can use.

Recently, I preached a conference with Wil Hart where he talked about obedience.  He spoke of how God uses people who are obedient and referencing the disciples who had worked all night and said this, “One of the greatest faith statements in the Bible is found in Luke 5:5,

“Nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.”

So many times, it is easy to trust in our own abilities or skill and when things don’t work out just give up.God is looking for individuals who will say, “in spite of doubt, discouragement, disillusionment, failures of others, personal setbacks, personal failure, I will let down the net.”  God wants people who will just be obedient to what he asks them to do.

God uses people who are visionaries.  When thinking of Nehemiah, he goes back to rebuild the city of walls of Jerusalem because he is a person of vision.  In fact, he has enough vision and foresight to know that it can be done even when others stand against him. Vision inspires loyalty.  God wants people who are visionaries as well as loyal to the gospel of Jesus Christ.  The disciples left everything and followed Him.

How are you following Him today?  Are you someone Jesus can use?  Deny self – take up the cross – follow HIM!

Abide in the TRUE VINE

Josephus says, “Above the gate of the Temple were golden vines and grape-clusters as large as a man”.   The disciples minds quickly went back to the gate where Jesus had been teaching…these large cluster grapes about the size of man (each grape about the size of a mans head).  The picture of the vine  equaled ancient Israel in the Jewish mindset. Jesus tells his disciples, “I am the TRUE VINE…” Not the temple or Israel.

Jesus is the source (the vine) of what we (the branches) will need to produce fruit (people transformed by the kingdom, word, and demonstration).

No transformation can take place if one does not abide in the vine (Transformation of self and others).

Jesus chose us so that we would bear fruit to God’s glory (John 15:8; 16). This was the same reason that Israel was a chosen people. We are now apart of what God is doing on this earth.  If we don’t abide in the Word of God, which is like abiding in Christ, it is impossible for us to bear fruit.

You prove what manner of person you are by what manner of fruit you produce.

That is part of the reason Jesus told us to abide in Him, the true Vine, or else be cast into the fire.

It’s time to stop talking about it and do it… Get connected….Produce fruit!

Notice the size of the man of the left in the picture.

Something to think about,
Blessings Ric
