Campmeeting Changing Hearts

We nailed our sins and request to Jesus on the cross at Palmer Creek Methodist Campground a few nights ago. It was amazing! It’s been an awe inspiring time in the presence of Jesus. The WORD has been powerful and the Holy Spirit has been moving as we have been worshiping in Spirit and in Truth!
Last night while most of the people were settling in for the night, the youth made their way to the Tabernacle for a time of prayer. It was a powerful as I watched over 30 youth crying out to Jesus! The alter was washed clean with tears from their innermost being. Their cries to God were deep and true. I can still hear the sobbing and moaning of deep conviction as the LOVE of JESUS touched their innermost being.

Repentance – Forgiveness – Healing of hurts – Acceptance – Freedom . . . It was GLORIOUS!

The crowds have be consistent, the hunger has been real, God has been moving, lives are being changed.

PRAISE JESUS!

Heavenly Minded

Sometimes we are so earthly minded were no heavenly good! When we allow our flesh (emotions/personal will) to rule our lives we are walking according to the world. This has been a great battle in all of our lives.   As my friend Terry Teykl says,”We must learn to pray without kicking the dog.”   It seems there is something that is always in the way.   Something the enemy is always putting on our minds which brings distraction.   This activates our emotional realm of our minds which is the fleshly realm.  God desires us to place our emotions aside and walk by faith.

When you are led by the Spirit (spiritually minded/mind set on things above) you are walking in Kingdom. To me this is looking beyond ourselves and into the heavenly realm.   Living as Jesus would have us live.   Jesus said, “Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.” John 5:19.   Jesus was looking into the heavenly realm and imitating His Heavenly Father, now we must do likewise.   We are to have a heavenly mindset of looking into the heavenly realm and seeing what Jesus does and do it.   This is exactly how I pray for others.   I look and I see Jesus touch them – then I touch them; He comforts them, then I comfort them, and He blesses them – then I bless them.   It is just a way of bringing Heaven to Earth!

“For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.”
Romans 8:5 NKJV

It’s time for us to have a heavenly mindset so we can bring heaven to earth.  “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

Never Give Up

As Christians we are always advancing the Kingdom agenda.

“Because you have made the Lord — my refuge, the Most High — your dwelling place, no harm will come to you; no plague will come near your tent. For He will give His angels orders concerning you, to protect you in all your ways.”
‭‭Psalms‬ ‭91:9-11‬ ‭HCSB‬‬

We never retreat . . .
We never stand still . . .
We are always in a position of progression . . .
We are always about the Father’s business . . .
We are heavenly minded . . .
We are not bound by the past . . .
We live in faith and assurance . . .
We keep our eyes on Jesus . . .
We move in the Supernatural not the natural . . .
We are winning even when we think we are loosing . . .
We do live as servants before God but live as Sons and
daughters of God . . .
Everything we do is based on furtherance of the
Kingdom and not ourselves . . .
Our goals and ambitions are not on the temporary but that which is eternal . . .

WHY?
We know who wins because we have read the last chapter of THE BOOK.

We must always remember . . . WE ARE ADVANCING!

Ripe N’ Ready

 RIPE N’ READY
This year I watched our pear tree ripen as the pears became so heavy they almost touched the ground. I was not until the pear tree came in full season that the pears were ready to harvest.

Have you been sensing the ripening of humanity?

Matthew 9:37 says, “Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.”

Greek :
Matthew 9:37 Ὁ μὲν θερισμὸς πολύς, οἱ δὲἐργάται ὀλίγοι:

Literal Verse:
This [is] , on one hand, a harvest, a great one. There [are], on the other hand, workers, a few (puny, weak).

This brings a whole new meaning to the Scripure. The true meaning is not numerical as much as it is Christians spiritual condition.

Think about it, we have millions of people who call themselves Christian around the world. But, how many are truly walking in power and demonstration and releasing the Kingdom of God with strength and supernatural power as Jesus did.

Are we WEAK and PUNY?

The generation before is one the power of God must be demonstrated and proven. Words are just words to them. Think how they live in a time where there is information overload. We must show them the power of God so they can be harvested.

Our WEAK and PUNY days are over! It’s time to harvest and show them the signs, miracles, and wonders.

Are you ready to prove you are who you say you are? “Be strong in the Lord and the power of His might.” – Eph. 6:10.

PAST – PRESENT – FUTURE

In 2001, I was fortunate to be able to go to England and visit the sites where John and Charles Wesley established the Methodist movement. While there I was moved by the culture and architectural structures of the formal glory of the United Kingdom. We visited Oxford and Aldersgate Street where Wesley’s heart was strangely warmed and traveled all over England. I even stood on Samuel Wesley’s tomb where John Wesley preached because he was forced out of the rectory and not able to speak truth. The grave was owned by the family and he could stand on it and preach without major confrontation from the Church of England. I remember visiting ruins of great cathedrals which had become museums and mausoleums. The people of England have no “spiritual” hope as these great edifices have become memorials glorifying the past and not looking toward the future.
During the day we would eat an expensive lunch (bowl or soup and bread) costing about $18 American dollars. The cost of the soup was not what was surprising, it was where we ate and why we ate there. We would eat lunch in the fellowship halls of Methodist congregations who could no longer afford their buildings and served lunch at a cost to keep the building open.

Sad!

Today the Lord reminded me of the trip to England and of the FIRE 🔥 which has been lost. Are we headed down the same path? Will the Church come out of this social distancing with our mindsets and actions the same as they were before?

GOD FORBID!

We have been forced out of our churches and no longer have a platform to proclaim the TRUTH! We have been concerned about being politically correct rather than preaching the gospel to see true transformation in the hearts of others. Many pastors have compromised because they are afraid of the “religious institutions” and “personal advancement” rather than speaking truth to the people in whom they are entrusted to by God.

I believe when we come out of this crisis it will not be church as usual. The church will not survive unless it adjusts to move with the heart of God. It can no longer be institutionally driven. The church will need to adjust as a large influx of people seeking the truth will come to church for the first time in years.

REVIVAL IS COMING! REVIVAL as we have never known it before. It truly is an exciting time to be alive.
